Are we getting stir crazy? Yes.
Jan 23 2013 Posted in Geoff WaterhouseThis may go into production very, very soon. Reintroducing the SnoKart.

A belated announcement
Feb 20 2011 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart NewsWe have a confession to make (by the way, have you seen that there is now a app that lets you to go to confession via your iPhone. Approved by the Pope too). When we threw out the Radio Times and officially announced that Christmas was over we clean forgot to announce the winner of the 2010 Christmas Caption Comp. Darren S gave us a nudge (thank you Darren).
Well the lucky winner is Nigel Lorriman with Santa saying “If it gets any colder my elf will deteriorate”. We’ll be sending a dozen GoKart hole-in-one balls (please deploy wisely) in the post this week. Sorry they’re a bit late. Darren – we’ll send you a sleeve too.

An ode to Goose Poo.
Aug 26 2010 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart NewsOfficially announcing the winner of our highly acclaimed and prestigious GoKart Limerick Competition.
Thank you to everyone who entered, the committee had a tough job deciding, but eventually plumped for Dave Marriage’s graphic description of the fairways at his local. Dave will receive the original drawing in celebration of his literary genius.

A Kartful of limericks – to inspire you!
Jul 31 2010 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart NewsOur limerick competition finishes at the end of the month…here’s a few more from the prolific GoKartoonist Laureate, soon to be retitled Limerickitist Laureate. To inspire you for your own creations in the competition here

A rather strange lady from Chester
Claimed her GoKart had possessed her
Her friend even said
It was banned from her bed
Because it had tried to molest her
An Indian golfer named Gandhi
With a wedge was remarkably handy
He could chip the ball in
With incredible spin
But struggled in areas sandy (more…)
Only one winner at St. Andrews!
Jul 22 2010 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart News, Golf NewsSadly nobody walked away with a shiny new GoKart in our Open competition so it was just Mr. Oosterhuizen that triumphed. And what a triumph, talk about doing it in style!

So we have a rollover for the USPGA, when we’ll have two GoKarts up for grabs. We’ll announce the new comp a couple of weeks before the tournie when the line up is definite.
And in honour of the week we have a wee Scottish themed limerick from Mr. W;
Old Jock the Scots pro passed away
He’d shot eagles and birdies each day
As they lowered him down
Said his caddy Jim Brown
“That’s his first hole in one I would say.”
GoKart Limerick Competition
Jul 06 2010 Posted in Customer comment, Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart NewsIn celebration of our extremely successful launch in Ireland we thought we’d have a bit of a limerick competition. You know the sort of thing; ‘There was a young man from Devizes…’ (cleanish please, or not, but then we won’t be able to print it, just titter here at GKHQ). It doesn’t have to be about a GoKart, but the theme should be golf.
We’ll run the competition for a month, and the winner will have their limerick illustrated by Geoff Waterhouse and sent to them in a posh frame, completely unique and ready to display with pride.
So to start the ball rolling, a quick one from Mr. W himself -
Simply enter your creation, along with your name in the comment box below.

Is it art?
May 22 2010 Posted in Geoff WaterhouseIt’s the PabloKart by the great Geoff Waterhouse. What do you think?

LeonardoKart
Feb 21 2010 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart NewsTrustees of the Estate of Leonardo Da Vinci are claiming the GoKart electric golf trolley is a copy of a design produced by the genius inventor around 500 years ago. They’re demanding royalties on all sales, but have indicated they may settle for a good discount on six trolleys as prizes at the annual Leonardo Texas Scramble. A GoKart spokesman, Mr G Waterhouse, when asked for a comment just looked a bit shifty and avoided eye contact.
